Impressive Division Finish with Consistent Performance Annie Dube delivered a remarkable performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, completing the challenging half marathon in 3:06:05. Utilizing an average pace of 13:55 min/mile, she secured 9th place among female participants and excelled in her F30-34 division, achieving 1st place. Her progression through the ranks was noteworthy, as she moved up from 140th at the start to finishing 69th overall out of 2049 participants. The split data reveals a strong start, with standout pacing early in the race, accumulating a sub-7-minute pace near Ruxton and demonstrating efficient pacing all the way to the 'Hydro Street' split. This momentum carried her through to 'No Name Creek' as the terrain began to steepen. Despite the increasing elevation in the final miles, Annie maintained her position and finished strong, displaying effective pacing strategy. For future races, evaluating approaches to sustain mid-race pacing can be beneficial for even better results.
