Consistent Climb with Strategic Improvements Across Placements Markus Nay, a 22-year-old runner from Monument, CO, demonstrated a strong performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon. Markus completed the challenging 13.36-mile ascent in a time of 3:14:00, achieving an outstanding overall position of 96th out of 2049 participants. His effort placed him 82nd in the Open gender category and 15th in the O20-24 division. Throughout the race, Markus maintained a consistent average pace of 14:31 min/mile, navigating the increasing altitude with resilience.
