Remarkable Improvement on the Pikes Peak Ascent Tyler Bailey completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with a significant improvement, finishing in 5:09:36, over 1 hour faster than the previous year. He maintained an overall pace of 23:10 min/mile across 13.36 miles, advancing his position in the 30-34 age division from 137th to 117th. Noteworthy is Tyler's consistency at high altitude where he faced steep climbs, and his mile split from the "7.8 Summit" to "Barr Camp" showcased a quicker pace of 18:18 min/mile, demonstrating strength in the middle section of the course. Despite the challenges, Tyler maintained a steady improvement in comparative placements. At the mile marker "1 Mile To Go", he recorded a net gain in placement, moving up to 968th. His endurance was tested in the final stretch with pacing variations, especially between "2 Miles To Go" and the "Finish".
