Significant Improvement and Consistent Strategy on Pikes Peak Ascent Ben Green, competing in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, demonstrated a commendable improvement over his previous performance. Completing the challenging ascent in 3:52:26, Ben improved his time by 15 minutes and 15 seconds from the 2024 race. His consistent pacing strategy at a reliable 17:23 min/mile shows adjustments made over the past year, placing him 21st in his division of ages 45-49, out of 2049 participants overall. In terms of split performance, Ben's pace was commendably strong in the initial stages, specifically at Hydro Street, maintaining a pace of 9:33 per mile. As expected, his pace adjusted during the higher altitudes, with a peak split pace of 27:03 min/mile towards the summit.
