Consistent Effort at High Altitude Thomas Gietl completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 3:50:40. He maintained a strong position in his division, finishing 14th in the O50-54 category. The course started at 6303 feet and climbed to 14061 feet over 13.36 miles, with an overall elapsed pace of 17:15 minutes per mile. Notably, his early split from the Start to Ruxton had an impressive pace of 7:52. Thomas ranked 211th overall at this point, showing a vigorous start.
