Strong Performance in Altitude Challenge Robin Tencick completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 4:38:53, averaging a pace of 20:52 min/mile over the 13.36-mile course. As a participant in the F40-44 age group, Robin improved her division standing considerably during the event, starting in 41st place and rising to finish 25th. Her ascent through the overall ranks was similarly impressive, moving from 812th at the start to 751st at the finish against a total field of 2049 participants. Elevation gains are apparent, starting from 6303 feet and continuing to the finish at 14,061 feet. Notably, Robin maintained a strong pace at the beginning, with her fastest split being 10:07 min/mile during the initial 0.43 miles, even amidst increasing altitude. Between Barr Camp and Bottomless Pit, Robin moved up significantly from 249th to 211th in gender placement. While the final three miles saw a slowdown, split paces ranging from 28:02 to 30:38 min/mile reflect the demanding conditions.
