Consistent Effort with Notable Mid-Race Surge Kimberly Coull completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 6:16:12. Her average pace was 28:09 min/mile, running a total distance of 13.36 miles. Among 2049 participants, Kimberly placed 1542 overall and secured the 75th position in the F30-34 division. Kimberly's race began at a steady pace, with her initial split at the Ruxton station being 12:14 min/mile. Interestingly, Kimberly showed significant improvement right after the "1.5 Miles To Go" mark, climbing positions and reaching a peak at 850th place, then eventually finishing at 1542nd. Her pacing in the early and mid stretches showed consistency, but she experienced noticeable slowdowns after Barr Camp, indicating altitude or fatigue impacts as the elevation steepened. Focusing on maintaining the mid-course pace in future elevations may yield even better results.
