Consistent Pace and Strategic Endurance Rebecca Inman completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an impressive time of 4:28:46 over 13.36 miles. Her average pace was 20:07 per mile. Notably, Rebecca made a significant leap in her standings early in the race, moving from an initial overall place of 1107 to as high as 547 by the "Top of W's" checkpoint. After this strong start, she maintained her position respectably through the challenging elevation gains. Rebecca's determination and control were noteworthy. She managed to finish 25th in the F30-34 division and 157th in the female category. Although her pace rightly slowed from "Barr Camp" at 2:08:11 with a split pace of 18:05 to a 28:18 pace in her final split, this consistency ensured a solid finish. Consideration of pacing improvements in the final uphill miles, where elevation fluctuations and fatigue impacted her time, might offer potential gains in future races.
