Consistent Effort in High Terrain Jenna Stockton, 35, from Colorado Springs, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 6:21:44. Her consistent effort on this challenging course saw her with an overall pace of 28:34 min/mile. Jenna's performance placed her 1569th out of 2049 participants and 579th among female runners, with a division position of 99th in the F35-39 category. Splits analysis shows a strong start, maintaining a reasonable pace in the early segments such as a 15:43 min/mile pace at Ruxton. A notable point was a 17:48 min/mile pace at Barr Camp after 7.91 miles. The race's last half showed increasing split times due to elevation gains, peaking at 14061 feet. Although the elevated sections were notably slower, Jenna's persistence is evident. Focusing on maintaining energy distribution in the later stages and adapting to altitude challenges could enhance future performances.
