Consistent Pace Secures Top Gender Finish Rena Schwartz from Boulder, CO, delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, finishing the Half Marathon in 2:51:04 with an average pace of 12:48 min/mile. Notably, Rena secured 3rd place in her gender and division without losing her top-three position once past Hydro Street. From the start, she improved her place significantly, moving from 55th to 8th in her gender group by Ruxton and consistently advanced to 3rd position by Barr Camp. Rena's race progression was notable, maintaining strong positions even as the course elevation increased.
