Consistent Performance with Strategic Pacing Owen Wright completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent half marathon with an elapsed time of 2:41:34, maintaining an average pace of 12:05 min/mile over the 13.36 miles. Ranked 18th overall and 5th in his age division, he navigated the extreme altitude increase of nearly 8000 feet with strategic pacing. Owen started strong, moving from 51st at the start to 14th by Hydro Street and maintaining a top 20 position throughout the race, even as the final miles presented higher elevations and steeper challenges.
