Strong Pace Start and Resilient Finish Kathleen Allison, 36, from Fountain, CO, participated in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent. With an elapsed time of 5:43:19 over a distance of 13.36 miles, her overall pace was 25:41 min/mile. Noteworthy is the strong start at Ruxton with a split pace of 10:09, indicating efficient pacing in the early stages while at lower altitudes. While finishing 1336th overall and 460th among women, Kathleen ended 82nd in her age division for females 35-39. The race's latter stages, especially those above the tree line, posed significant challenges. The split at 0.5 Miles To Go showed a split pace of 35:37, reflecting the difficult conditions faced at this stage.
