Consistent Climb to the Finish Holly Kelleher showcased a well-paced ascent at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, completing the 13.36-mile race with an impressive elapsed time of 4:33:08. Notable splits include a swift start at Ruxton (8:08 min/mile) and a steady pace through Hydro Street (10:29 min/mile). As Holly advanced to higher elevations, mile splits understandably slowed, with the most challenging section being "1 Mile To Go," where the pace reached 29:13 min/mile due to the increased elevation of 13,329 feet. Her overall position was 686th out of 2,049 participants, with a gender placement of 179th, and 21st in the highly competitive Female 40-44 age division. Progression through the race remained consistent despite increasingly challenging conditions, driven by higher altitudes and steeper sections, particularly in the final stretches. Future efforts could focus on maintaining a stronger pace in the highest sections to further enhance overall timing and placement.
