Consistent Effort in High Altitude Challenge Breanna ONeill completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 5:38:19, covering a distance of 13.36 miles at a pace of 25:19 min/mile. She achieved 62nd place in the F30-34 division out of 1300 overall finishers, highlighting her steady performance throughout the course. Starting strong, Breanna maintained a top 284 finish among females from the onset but moved to her finishing position early on, as seen by the 0.43-mile mark. Key points of the race include maintaining a sub-20-minute pace between the 4.48-mile mark at No Name Creek and 6.05 miles at the 7.8 Summit. In the later miles, elevation and fatigue slowed her pace, such as the 38:51 min/mile pace from the 0.5-mile to the finish line. Encouragement for future races: maintaining mid-race momentum could offer improvements in finish times and positions. Excellent perseverance in challenging conditions!
