Consistent Climb and Strong Finish Kindra Hardy-Johnson tackled the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with resilience, completing the 13.36-mile trail in 4:13:46, over an elevation gain of nearly 8,000 feet. She maintained an overall pace of 18:59 min/mile, showcasing commendable endurance across varied terrains and altitudes. Starting from an overall position of 1346, she advanced significantly, climbing to 491 by the race's completion. Particularly notable was her performance from Hydro Street to the Barr Camp, where her split pace improved from 17:11 to 14:17. Despite natural slowdowns as she ascended beyond the tree line, she consistently stayed within her age division's competitive bracket, finishing in 13th place. For future races, focusing on sections with steeper altitude gains could help sustain or improve pace. The final stretch saw her maintaining a pace of approximately 26:39, underscoring her determination and endurance.
