Steady Climb and Consistent Finish Martin Henry completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in a solid time of 4:32:48, achieving an average pace of 20:25 min/mile over the 13.36-mile course. Starting from an elevation of 6303 feet and ascending to 14061 feet, Martin demonstrated a consistent effort amidst challenging conditions. At the start, Martin was placed 1364 overall, but made commendable progress, finishing 682 out of 2049 participants. This improvement is notable considering the high elevation and steep climbs, which presented increased difficulty. Particularly impressive was Martin's steady advancement in his division. He improved his placement from 124th at the start to 91st by the finish in the O30-34 category. Despite the predictably challenging conditions above the tree line, his pace remained consistent, with splits between "1.5 Miles To Go" and "Finish" averaging around 26:09 to 29:08 min/mile. Continued focus on pacing during early climbs could further enhance performance.
