Notably, she climbed from a starting division place of 84th to finish 8th in her F45-49 age group, reflecting consistent advancement despite the elevation challenges. Her progress was consistent with strategic pacing, beginning with a swift 8:03 min/mile in the initial 0.43 miles. Variations in pace were evident as elevation increased, such as during the 32:39 split pace at the "A-Frame" checkpoint, which is located at an elevation of 11,934 feet.
