His pace averaged 19:21 per mile. With a total of 2049 participants, Phillip finished commendably as the 541st overall and 49th in his division (Men's 25-29). Phillip started strong, placing 372nd overall at the Ruxton checkpoint with an 8:24 pace for the first 0.43 miles. While the altitude and incline naturally reduced his speed, Phillip maintained a steady position, notably climbing to 485th overall by the "0.5 Miles To Go" checkpoint at 13,694 feet. His consistency in sustaining a strong placement indicates his capability to endure high-altitude challenges, particularly as he improved his placing during the last mile.
