Impressive Altitude Navigation Yields Strong Finish Lauren Hinds, 36, from Colorado Springs, CO, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 4:42:17 over 13.36 miles, achieving an average pace of 21:07 per mile. She placed 790th overall among 2049 participants and 215th in the female category. Notably, she improved her position considerably from the start, where she was 1234th overall, to her final standing. Noteworthy was Lauren's strong start, with her fastest pace at 9:14 per mile, swiftly surpassing initial competitors to rank 643rd at Ruxton. Her performance at significant elevation points, like the "A-Frame" with a time of 3:13:53 over 10.29 miles, where her pace slowed to 25:50 per mile, indicates the challenging nature of high-altitude performance.
