Steady Progress on a Challenging Ascent Jenna Kovalak completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 4:16:47, maintaining an average pace of 19:13 minutes per mile over the 13.36-mile distance. Notably, she placed 24th in her F35-39 division amidst the 2049 total participants. Starting strong, Jenna's initial pace was an impressive 8:50 min/mile at the Ruxton split. As expected during such an ascent, her pace varied significantly, with her effort at the challenging Bottomless Pit split slowing to 21:28 min/mile. The final sections above the tree line proved demanding but were navigated with determination. From the A-Frame checkpoint, the splits increased in difficulty with a notable split pace of 27:03 min/mile through the 0.5 Miles To Go marker, reflecting the steep elevation gain and high altitude.
