Impressive Consistency Through Steep Terrain Christian Schroeder completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an overall time of 5:05:50, tackling a distance of 13.36 miles. This resulted in an average pace of 22:53 per mile among 2049 participants. His position was 1039 overall, 732 in the open gender category, and 97 in the 40-44 age division. Starting strong, Christian covered the first 0.43 miles with a pace of 9:10, reaching Ruxton at 6355 feet elevation. His steady approach was evident as the terrain ascended steeply. Despite the increasing elevation up to 14061 feet, where the pace naturally slowed to 37:04 per mile, Christian maintained consistent splits.
