Consistent Progress Amidst Increasing Challenges Cristian Hernandez Rivera completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 4:54:45, covering a distance of 13.36 miles with an elapsed pace of 22:03 min/mile. Starting from the 1336th overall position, Cristian made steady progress, quickly moving up to 669th by the Ruxton point. By the time he reached the 7.8 Summit landmark at mile 6.05, he had improved to 809th, demonstrating his strong mid-race recovery. Notably, Cristian maintained his overall position despite the steep ascent and thin air, ending in 934th out of 2049 participants. The segment from the A-Frame to the half-mile mark before the finish proved especially demanding, with split paces extending to 28:19 min/mile and beyond.
