Consistent Start, Opportunity in High Altitude Finish Andrew Skinner completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent half marathon in 4:46:42, averaging a pace of 21:27 min/mile over 13.36 miles. The race started at an altitude of 6303 feet and concluded at 14061 feet. His strongest early performance was at the Ruxton split, achieving an impressive split pace of 8:49 min/mile. At the "Top of W's," Andrew maintained a solid standing, placing 64th in his division. Notably, this year's race compared to 2024 shows a longer elapsed time by approximately 28 minutes, indicating challenges in the latter sections of the course.
