Consistent Progress with Strong Finish Ryan Pasquale, representing Colorado Springs, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 3:13:23. Ryan maintained an overall pace of 14:28 per mile, placing 88th out of 2049 participants, and secured 13th in the Open 25-29 age division. Starting at an elevation of 6303 feet, Ryan improved from an initial position of 1388 to finish strong at an elevation of 14,061 feet. The race culminated with challenging conditions that saw Ryan tackle the final miles with skill. Notable splits included an impressive initial pace at Ruxton, where Ryan clocked a split pace of 7:34 per mile. While the overall pace slightly slowed by the "Top of W's" mark, the climb to 10,819 feet at "Bottomless Pit" was managed well, with Ryan steadily improving positions between splits.
