Maintaining steady placements, Wilmer advanced as high as 54th overall during the race, demonstrating a strong mid-course performance. The splits indicate a strategic start, with a swift pace of 8:02 min/mile as he reached Ruxton, promptly advancing 1043 positions. Pacing remained consistent, particularly through "Barr Camp" at a 12:53 min/mile pace, before naturally slowing above the tree line.
