Consistent Progression Amidst Increasing Challenges Sameep Paudyal completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 4:48:15, covering a distance of 13.36 miles at an overall pace of 21:34 min/mile. Notably, his overall place improved from 1269 to 849 out of 2049 participants, indicating consistent progression throughout the race. Sameep showed resilience with steady advancements in the rankings, particularly notable from "1.5 Miles To Go" to the finish, where his position improved significantly. At each checkpoint, Sameep maintained a respectable pace despite the increasing elevation and fatigue. His early splits, such as the "Ruxton" split at 10:14 min/mile pace, set an encouraging tone. As the elevation increased, particularly after reaching the treeline, pacing understandably slowed. The split between "2 Miles To Go" and "1.5 Miles To Go" revealed a momentary challenge, wherein split pace dropped to 31:12 min/mile, but recovery was visible towards the end. Continuing to focus on sustaining momentum against altitude could yield even better results.
