Impressive Finish at High Altitude Audrey Hogenkamp completed the Pikes Peak Ascent with an impressive 3:35:06, ranking 5th in the F25-29 age division. Her average pace was 16:06 min/mile over the 13.36-mile course, significantly improving her position from a starting overall place of 358 to finish at 191. Notably, Audrey climbed from 16th to 5th in her division, showcasing strong progress throughout the race. Audrey showed consistent progress through the course, starting briskly with a split pace of 7:49 in the early Ruxton stage, and maintaining a steady effort under challenging conditions. At the high-altitude finish, she managed a pace of 21:09, indicative of the tough final push at 14,061 feet elevation. One area to consider focusing on in future events could be maintaining a more consistent pace through the middle sections, perhaps between Barr Camp and A-Frame, where split times showed a slight deviation.
