Consistent Climb with Notable Mid-Race Performance Mason Boggs completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 5:02:00 with an overall pace of 22:36 min/mile. The steady climb from 6303 to 14061 feet came with fluctuating split paces, showcasing both challenges and improvement along the way. Starting from the position of 1580, impressive gains were evident as he moved up to position 1004 by the 10.29-mile mark at A-Frame elevation. The split at "Hydro Street" stood out at a 13:21 min/mile pace, reflecting an early strong performance. Elevation gains were navigated well, although the final miles saw his pace slow notably. Despite this, finishing at 1009 out of 2049 participants indicates a commendable effort, especially ascending into higher altitude. Notably, the split from "7.8 Summit" to "Barr Camp" had a consistent pace under 20:00 min/mile. For future races, focusing on maintaining mid-race momentum in the final miles could enhance performance further.
