Impressive Climb with Focused Finish Christopher Lee, 36, from Oklahoma City, tackled the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with dedication, finishing in a total time of 5:42:17 for the 13.36-mile course. His overall placing improved significantly from the starting 1052 position to 1324, highlighting a commendable progression throughout the race. The challenge was intense with pace variations, starting at 13:07 min/mile and concluding at an average pace of 25:37 min/mile, particularly from mile 3.2 to the finish at elevation 14,061 feet. Notably, Christopher showed resilience by maintaining improvement despite the climbing altitude, starting at 6303 feet and ending at over 14,000 feet. The split from No Name Creek to the top, clocked at a 25:54 min/mile pace, especially stands out as a strong push towards the finish. Concentrating on early race pacing strategies could further enhance performance in such challenging terrains. Excellent effort on elevation management and endurance in this race!
