Steady Progress With Strong Mid-race Consistency Nick Leischow completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in 4:06:10, covering a challenging 13.36-mile course with an overall pace of 18:25 min/mile. Starting out at 1153rd place, Nick surged forward, improving his position significantly to 477th by the Ruxton checkpoint. Maintaining steady progress, he settled in around 350th position through major segments of the course. Particularly notable is Nick's consistent mid-race performance. Despite increasing altitude, his split paces between 7.8 Summit and Barr Camp varied only slightly between 15:02 and 16:04 min/mile. A strong mid-race strategy kept him well-positioned throughout the race. Nick faced a slight slowdown in the final stretches above the tree line, with a pace of 26:58 min/mile at the finish. Final placement recorded was 412th out of 2049 participants. Focusing on the latter part of the course would further enhance future performance.
