Strategic Pacing at High Elevation Patricia Bowling showcased resilience and determination in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, finishing with an elapsed time of 4:39:55 over 13.36 miles. With an overall pace of 20:57 min/mile, she ranked 28th in her F40-44 division. Despite facing increased elevation and fatigue, Patricia maintained a steady effort, evident from her particularly strong splits up to Barr Camp. Notably, she completed the initial 0.43-mile Ruxton section with an impressive 8:58 min/mile, landing her in 15th place in her division at that point. Compared to her 2024 race performance, Patricia had a slightly slower overall time, but she demonstrated strength in maintaining her ranking within tight segments.
