Steady Start, Challenging Finish Raechel Tabereaux completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an elapsed time of 6:03:50, covering 13.36 miles. She recorded an average pace of 27:14 min/mile, placing 1467th overall, 524th among females, and 90th in her division (F35-39) out of 2049 participants. A comparison with her performance in the previous year shows an increased elapsed time from 5:28:11 in 2024, with a slower average pace this year. In particular, noteworthy segments in her splits include the consistent start reaching “Ruxton” with a pace of 11:55 min/mile and maintaining control till "Barr Camp" with a pace of 16:19 min/mile. However, the ascent beyond the tree line, especially after "Bottomless Pit," demonstrated slower paces, as seen in the final segments reaching 43:04 min/mile. Exploring strategies for managing the final uphill segments might improve performance in future races.
