Consistent Pace with Promising Gains in Altitude Jennifer Hall tackled the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon, completing the challenging 13.36-mile course in 6:11:00 with an overall pace of 27:46 min/mile. Starting strong, Jennifer began at the Start with a position of 862 overall but found herself dropping to 1616 by the Hydro Street split. She moved back up, improving at the "1.5 Miles To Go" marker with a significant climb in placement to 842 overall, elevating her performance as conditions intensified. Tracking her splits, Jennifer maintained consistent strides on steeper segments, notably achieving her quickest mile pace at 18:34 between 7.91 to 8.77 miles at Barr Camp. Although her pace varied above the treeline, staying within 20 minutes for several splits shows commendable endurance. Ending in 1515th place overall out of 2049 participants, she demonstrated notable perseverance. For future events, maintaining early momentum could maximize performance in elevation gains, showcasing her potential to enhance results further.
