Steady Ascent with a Strong Finish Angelina Byron completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 4:16:14, with an average pace of 19:10 min/mile. Her performance placed her 514th overall and 124th among women, with an 18th place finish in the F45-49 division. Starting from 1278th place overall, Angelina showed strong progression, moving significantly up the ranks as she climbed. Her strongest segment was the initial Ruxton to Hydro Street stretch, where she recorded a swift 9:11 min/mile pace. Notably, Angelina improved her standings as she passed numerous competitors, highlighted by her substantial leap at the Top of W's and again near the summit. Although her pace naturally slowed in the final stretches due to challenging elevation gains, she maintained a position within the top 20 of her division. Focusing on pacing strategies for the final climbs could further her performance in future races.
