Consistent Performance with Strategic Pacing Miguel Perez completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an elapsed time of 3:46:56 over a distance of 13.36 miles, resulting in an average pace of 16:59 min/mile. Notably, Miguel demonstrated strategic pacing, starting strong with an impressive 8:06 min/mile split at Ruxton and maintaining consistent effort through the first half of the ascent. His placement was 264th overall out of 2049 participants, securing 30th in his division for age 40-44. While his finishing time was slower compared to the previous year's 3:27:44, Miguel showcased determined pacing during the higher altitude stages. The splits indicate he faced significant challenges above the tree line, where his pace decreased from 19:07 min/mile at Bottomless Pit to 24:15 min/mile during the final half-mile.
