Stellar Finish in Female Division for Age 20-24 Hope Stark delivered an impressive performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent. Completing the 13.36-mile course in 3:12:14, with a pace of 14:23 min/mile, she secured an exceptional 3rd place finish in her age division. Notably, Hope moved from a starting position of 13th to an eventual 3rd place within her division, showing remarkable progression throughout the race. The early miles showcased Hope's strong start, where she maintained an average pace close to 7:33 min/mile at Ruxton. As the elevation increased, pacing adjustments were evident, with a gradual deceleration in later stages, reflecting the increased elevation gain. Her most significant positional gain occurred between "1.5 Miles To Go" and "Finish," as she climbed from 6th to close within her division. Continuing to focus on maintaining consistency in the final stretches could further boost performance in future races.
