At age 46, she showcased strong endurance across 13.36 miles, achieving an overall finishing place of 1031 out of 2049 participants. Climbing from an altitude of approximately 6303 feet to 14061 feet, she maintained an average pace of 22:47 min/mile. Notably, Sunnie improved her standing throughout the race, advancing from 1572 at the start to 1031 at the finish. She demonstrated significant tenacity, particularly in the latter stages, ascending from 2.5 miles to 1 mile to go, where she moved from 1105th to 981st place. Splits reveal strong pacing within the first third, specifically from "Ruxton" to "7.8 Summit," where she gained significant positions. While the final mile posed a challenge with altitude, maintaining consistency in splits is key. Overall, a commendable performance on both terrain and altitude.
