Solid Performance with Strength in Early Stages Judah Aldy completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 4:42:33, covering a distance of 13.36 miles. His overall pace was 21:08 min/mile, finishing 792nd out of 2049 participants. Judah began strongly, moving from 1284th place at the start to 683rd place by the Ruxton checkpoint with an impressive initial pace of 9:20 min/mile. By the Hydro Street mark, his position improved further to 597th, reflecting his solid early race performance. However, as expected in this high-altitude race, the latter stages proved more challenging. From Barr Camp to the finish, Judah's pace slowed gradually, with the final 0.53 miles to the finish line taking 16:49, equating to a split pace of 32:00. Although fatigue and altitude impacted Judah's later splits, his ability to maintain a steady position for much of the race is commendable. Continuing to build strength for this unique terrain could enhance future performances.
