Maintaining Strong Overall Performance in Elevation Benjamin Lucas completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with an impressive finish time of 2:57:44, navigating the 13.36-mile ascent from 6,303 feet to 14,061 feet elevation. He showed a strong start, improving in the rankings by the time he reached Hydro Street, where he moved from 21st in his division to 17th. Benjamin's strategic approach is evident as he maintained a steady pace, transitioning from 7:30 min/mile at Ruxton to 11:12 min/mile at the Top of W's, illustrating adaptability in the initial ascent phase. In the final miles above the tree line, Benjamin demonstrated resilience at high altitudes.
