Strong Effort at High Altitude Tiziana Pozzi, from Sunbury, Ohio, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent in an impressive time of 5:25:34. With an average pace of 24:22 minutes per mile over the course of 13.36 miles, Tiziana navigated the significant elevation gain, starting at 6303 feet and finishing at 14061 feet. Her performance placed her 17th in her division, Women 55-59, confirming her determination and consistency throughout the race. Tiziana started strong with a swift pace of 9:51 in the first split at Ruxton, but as expected, the challenging elevation and fatigue contributed to a slower pace in later miles. Notably, she maintained her division placement with strong resolve, demonstrating effective pacing through difficult sections like Barr Camp and the final mile.
