Strong Start with Consistent Progress Ava Rumpf demonstrated impressive endurance and determination in the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent. Beginning the race strong, she quickly moved from a starting place of 241 overall and 108 among females, completing the first 0.43 miles at an 8:40 pace. As she ascended, Ava maintained a steady pace, reaching Hydro Street with an average pace of 12:11 and ranking 9th in her division. Ava faced greater challenges as the elevation increased. Yet, she progressed consistently, completing 6.05 miles at a 20:11 pace. While the final miles above the tree line saw a decrease in her pace to 35:37, her placement as 11th in the F16-19 division showcases her capability.
