Steady Climb to the Summit in Pikes Peak Ascent Dusti Bosworth completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent half marathon with an elapsed time of 5:43:18, traversing a notably steep distance of 13.36 miles. Starting from an elevation of approximately 6303 feet and ascending to 14061 feet, her overall pace was 25:41 minutes per mile. Bosworth's position improved throughout the race; she advanced from 1688th at the start to finish 1335th overall out of 2049 participants. During the initial segment to Ruxton, Dusti set a solid split pace of 11:01 minutes per mile. She maintained steady pacing, reflected in segments like Barr Camp with a 17:15 minutes per mile pace. The last few miles above tree line proved challenging with split paces slowing to over 30 minutes per mile. Nevertheless, Dusti demonstrated resilience and tenacity, advancing in her division, moving from 98th to 67th in the F40-44 category, demonstrating admirable endurance at high altitude.
