He maintained a consistent pace throughout, closing with an average pace of 17:22 min/mile. Notably, Jacob improved his overall position significantly from 560th in the 2024 race to 306th this year, which highlights his progress over the course of a year. The highest terrain reached during the event was 14,061 feet, impacting pacing towards the end with splits slowing to 27:25 min/mile at the finish. Jacob's splits showed strategic energy management, particularly evident in his early mile at Ruxton with a swift 8:13 min/mile pace.
