Outstanding Division Performance on a Demanding Course Susan Williams, hailing from Littleton, CO, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with a time of 4:04:05, covering a distance of 13.36 miles. Susan's strategy saw her conquer varying elevations, starting at 6,303 feet and reaching the summit at 14,061 feet. Her overall pace of 18:16 min/mile, combined with a strong finish, allowed her to clinch the top spot in her division (F55-59), demonstrating tenacity throughout the race. Her journey up the path saw her making impressive gains early, notably moving up from 849th position overall at the start to 636th by the time she reached Hydro Street at mile 1.23. Despite pacing challenges above the tree line, Susan maintained a consistent division lead from mile 1.23 onwards. The splits show an expected pace reduction, with the final stretch from "0.5 Miles To Go" marked by a 26:51 min/mile split, showcasing her resilience in high-altitude conditions.
