Consistent Performance Despite Altitude Challenges Aaron Willey demonstrated a steady performance at the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent, completing the 13.36-mile race in 4 hours, 58 minutes, and 23 seconds with an average pace of 22:20 per mile. Starting strong, Aaron held the 25th position in his division shortly after the start at 6303 feet elevation. His pace varied throughout the race, with initial segments like the 0.43-mile Ruxton portion clocking in at 9:56 per mile, while steeper and higher parts like the final 0.52-mile saw a pace of 33:41 per mile. The elevation climb from 6000 feet to over 14000 feet presented significant challenges, affecting pacing as expected.
