Consistent Climb Despite High Altitude Adam Magginetti, age 31 from Peyton, CO, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon in 4:45:42, covering 13.36 miles and ranking 820th out of 2049 participants. His overall pace was 21:23 min/mile, and he placed 99th in his division (Male 30-34). Starting strong with a 7:38 split pace at Ruxton, Adam gradually adjusted to the increasingly challenging altitude and slope, maintaining competitiveness early on with a commendable division climb to 211th at the No Name Creek split. As Adam navigated into higher altitudes, his split paces understandably slowed. He managed a consistent pace, notably completing the 0.4277 miles at 1.5 Miles To Go with a split of 33:07, and sustained his effort through to the finish at 14,061 feet elevation.
