Steady Progression Amidst Challenges Kelsey maintained a consistent progression in her climb from the start, moving from 1559th initially to 1118th by the finish. Her early robust pace at Ruxton, clocking 8:28 min/mile, showed her capability of pushing forward effectively in the initial stages. She continued moving upward seamlessly until 7.8 Summit, keeping her position strong in the F30-34 division. At this point, Kelsey was positioned 24th with a very respectable pace of 15:57 min/mile. In the final stretch of the race, Kelsey's pace reduced as expected in high altitudes. The progression from "1.5 Miles To Go" to the finish reveals an effortful push, even as her pace at the finish point adjusted to 44:21 min/mile. Despite the gradual slow down, her final division standing of 54th in F30-34 out of a total of 2049 participants is notably commendable. Consistent monitoring of progress through each split will enhance pacing strategies in future races.
