Steady Ascent in High Altitude Conditions Theresa Tufaro completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent with an elapsed time of 4:32:57, covering a half marathon distance of 13.36 miles. Her overall pace was 20:25 min/mile. Theresa started strong, particularly shining in the early stage between the Start and Ruxton, which she covered in 9:05 min/mile, ranking her 582nd overall at that stage. Notably, she moved up decisively from 1094th at the start to 582nd at Ruxton. Theresa maintained a steady rank in the top 25 of her division, and her performance was characterized by consistency. She was particularly stable from the "Top of W's" to "No Name Creek," where she held her division position. Although she slowed to a 30:23 min/mile pace in the last segment as the elevation increased, her determination was evident overall. Continuing to work on maintaining pacing in the later stages could enhance future performances.
