Consistent Performance Over Tough Terrain Colleen exhibited a remarkable level of consistency during the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent. Starting strong, she positioned herself at 295th place overall at the start, surging to higher-than-average placements early in the race. As expected, as the elevation increased significantly, her pacing adjusted accordingly. Her splits indicate a steady and controlled approach to the ascent—all while navigating an elevation rise of over 7,700 feet from the start to finish. Notably, Colleen maintained a disciplined pace, with her most challenging section being between Bottomless Pit and A-Frame, where her split pace increased to 42:22 min/mile. Her race concluded with an impressive finish at 5:55:21. To further enhance performance in future races, focusing on the efficient execution of steeper stages could be beneficial. Overall, Colleen’s execution on this course demonstrates solid endurance and admirable poise. She should be proud of her efforts and the data provides a promising foundation for future training and races.
