Eloisa Baeza Endures Steep Ascents and High Altitudes with Determination Eloisa Baeza, 38, from Artesia, NM, completed the 2025 Pikes Peak Ascent Half Marathon with a total elapsed time of 6:47:21, covering a distance of 13.36 miles. She achieved an average pace of 30:29 min/mile. Starting strong, Eloisa was in the top 25% of her division at the start line. However, the arduous ascent and decreasing oxygen levels led to a gradual decline in pace as she climbed to 14,061 feet. Notable points in her race include a fast opening split of 12:19 min/mile up to Ruxton and maintaining a strong pace of 18:18 min/mile at Barr Camp.
